Ifrit summons a huge scoldering spherical rock from hell, pulling it into dark sky as if it were magnetised, and pummels it into the enemy.
How to Gain
As part of your graduation to SeeD, Quistis will take you to the Fire Cavern at the very beginning of the game. Simply defeat Ifrit in here. It's very easy, but for more information, go here.

Junction Abilities AP Needed
HP-J Allows character to junction magic to the HP stat, raising the character's total HP. 50
Str-J Allows character to junction magic to the Strength stat, raising the character's strength for physical attacks. Complete
Elem-Atk-J Allows character to junction an element to his/her physical attacks; e.g. if you junction Fire to Elem-Atk, that character's physical attacks will carry the Fire element. Complete
Elem-Def-J Allows character to junction an element to his/her defense; e.g. if you junction Fire to Elem-Def, that character will take less damage from Fire-based attacks. 100
Elem-Defx2 Allows character to junction two elements to his/her elemental defense. 130
Command Abilities AP Needed
Magic Allows character to cast stored magic. Unavailable if character is Silenced. Complete
GF Allows character to summon a GF. Unavailable if character is Silenced. Complete
Draw Allows character to 'Draw' magic (or a GF) from an enemy. After selecting Draw, you are given the option of using the drawn magic immediately, or storing it for later use. Unavailable if character is Silenced. Complete
Item Allows character to use items from your inventory during battle. Not affected by Silence. Complete
Mad Rush Casts Berserk, Haste, Protect, and Shell on all characters. 60

Str+20% Increases character's Strength stat by 20%. 60
Str+40% Increases character's Strength stat by 40%. 120
Str Bonus Increases character's base Strength stat permanently by 1 point when that character gains a level. 100
Guardian Force Abilities AP Needed
SumMag+10% Increases the GF's attacking power by 10%. 40
SumMag+20% Increases the GF's attacking power by 20%. 70
SumMag+30% Increases the GF's attacking power by 30%. 140
Boost Temporarily increases GF's attacking power based on the number achieved (75-250) at the end of the boost period. Press Select during a summon animation, and then press Square repeatedly while the red X is NOT showing. 10
GFHP +10% Increases the GF's HP by 10%. 40
GFHP+ 20% Increases the GF's HP by 20%. 70
GFHP+ 30% Increases the GF's HP by 30%. 140

F Mag-RF Allows you to convert certain items to fire-based magic. 30
